Week 2 is now upon us. Half the league is feeling good about themselves while the other half is licking their wounds. Unless you play with Feinstein, than you're licking each other. Keeping things savage and making the picks...
Bulldogs v Vikings - Ralph and the crew finally get an early game so they can go and be with their respective families on Sunday. The Bulldogs look to rebound after the thrashing they received at the hands of Miami. The Vikings are just hopeful to have a team show up. Bulldogs will be there to collect their win.
Ur moms Fav D v Silverbacks - Last week was a total washout for both teams. I hope they got clean because those games were a shit show. This game is my game of the weak. Ur Moms Fav D got treated like my mom's V by the Dynasty. Larry and the crew were turned - chum by the Sharks. I expect a closer game. Thankfully someone has to win. Sadly it will not be the Silverbacks.
Dillon Panthers v Pythons - funny how two teams can have the same record, but that might be the only thing they have in common. Prams passed up on the opportunity to be a receiver for Feinstein so he could pilot the Pythons and their athletes. He looks to build chemistry as the Pythons slither to their first win.
Nukes v Overachievers - When these two teams last met the Nukes were going for two and the win in the second round of the Fall playoffs. We all know how that went. Both teams have new looks as the Nukes have thinned the herd and the Overachievers have trimmed the fat! Both teams won last week, but only one actually played. The Nukes are feeling good after their four pick performance against Bruce. Sasso looks to start where he finished off the last time he was a starting QB for a championship contender. The O's win in his debut.
Wildcats v Longhorns - the cats had a tougher than expected game against the Oil Tide. Longhorns made quick work of Monroe contender Falcons. In spite of their dominant performance the Wildcats are a far different opponent. They will prove that with a big win against the Longhorns.
Miami v Playmakers - is Miami legit? Are the Playmakers the new Cardinals? This game will go a long way to answering both questions. Based on what I saw out of the playmakers I will give Miami credit if they manage to score on the Playmakers.
Tune Squad v Sharks - TSquad looked like a brand new team in their Mercer debut against a shorthanded Chargers team. Sharks look like a team running practice in their opener against the Silverbacks. While the Squad has a week of experience under their collective belts they don't have a win. Winning = confidence and the Sharks won last week. Sharks start the season 2-0
Warriors v Suicide Squad - 4. That is the number of completions Bruce threw to the Nukes in their first week loss to the Nukes. 1. That is the number of starting QB's that Suicide Squad has of beating the Warriors. It would be tough even if Jimmy can play. I will take the Warriors to pick up their first win of the season.
Money Team v Irish - I was told that this will be the game of the week. I guess expectation is the mother of hyperbole. Money Team didn't exactly tear up the world in the first week. The Irish goat fucked a team they were expecting to goat fuck. Smoke always rises. Money Team will have more smoke and more points by the end of this game.
Commission v Chargers - Chargers were one of two losses suffered by the Commission during the regular season last fall. The commission has the same squad, but the Chargers certainly look markedly different with the additions of Adamo and Henry. The commission stays with confidence which should make this game close, but not close enough for the commission to win.
Oilers v Team USA - in their game against the Cats the Oilers did not start with Snell and lost Sam before the final whistle. Team USA lost their will to win somewhere between the coinflip and the second drive as they got mollywhopped by the Playmakers. Styles makes fights and this game is certainly a contrast in styles. Team USA's style should give the patriots the edge of the Oil Tide.
You Gon Learn Today v Old Dogs - YGLT certainly learned that winning in the MCFFL will not be a walk in the proverbial park. Of course the Old Dogs made their win over the Dillon Panthers look like a walk in the Park. YGLT has better athletes, but the Old Dogs experience should be enough to carry the day. Daly is taking another step out of the large shadow of Steve Phillips.
Laces Out v Dynasty - Alex Zuzzio is a good dude. I like him and his team. In spite of my affection for Laces Out they have not proven themselves as a winner as the team were bludgeoned by the Eagles in week 1. Dynasty proved to be the story of the week as they made short work of Ur Moms Strong V. They also made sure to point out my own shortcomings as a prognosticator. I am going to pick Dynasty this week. Don't prove me wrong two weeks in a row or I will let you know about. #howboutdah?
Goats v Spartans - I really want to write something good about these two teams. I can't so I will just pick the Spartans to win a thriller.
Eagles v Falcons - while Justin Trinidad was out jet setting the Eagles were putting a beat down on Laces Out. I never know where JT will be from week to week, so I can only pick the Eagles to make it two in a row and force me to actually watch one their games so I can make Santos a legend with an actual report.
